Today, I am going to bring Kara outdoor for a mommy-daughter picnic during this pandemic. Yes! Literally just outdoor, in our front yard- at kara’s play area. We will have a little picnic, just a simple one I will set up the place and after her afternoon nap, I am going to bring her there. I will read her favorite books, make great conversation and play.
Before the covid19 pandemic happened, Kara & I used to go for a picnic or outdoor on a weekly basis. We went to several places in town such as the park, restaurants and malls. Before we went home, most of the time we dropped by Fullybooked to buy books or check out new ones. We planned to visit the museum unfortunately, the city was put in community quarantine, so we had no choice but to stay at home and follow the protocol.
Sometimes, If you ask Kara what she likes to eat, she will answer “pasta” or if not she will say “sghetti” which means spaghetti. So later, I am going to give her pasta for afternoon snack. I always cook it for her but not today because I will order food from Swiss Daniel Restobar. I went to their place last March and tried their pasta and I tell you it tastes really good; you must try it. They have different kinds of pasta like spaghetti Bolognese, chicken carbonara and pesto. They also have this very good swiss-inspired coffee served with chocolate & many other foods in their menu.
Now for those of you who do not know, Swiss Daniel Restobar is a newly opened restobar here in Cagayan de Oro City. Located in Corrales Avenue. If you are familiar of LED bar, that is exactly the place where they are located. Unfortunately, they were forced to close during quarantine for safety purposes. However, just recently, I found out that they are open again Mondays-Sundays 10:30 am to 10 pm. Not only that, you can now order food from them via Food Panda.
So, that is what we are going to do today. we are going to order chicken carbonara and spaghetti bolognese from them and eat it with Kara. I hope she will enjoy today’s mini picnic at since we can’t go outdoor yet.
